At the CMAA Metro NY/NJ Chapter’s 22nd Annual Awards Banquet, SIE was awarded an Honorable Mention for our Installation of Sanitary Sewers in Dahlia Street Area in Staten Island project. Sarwat Izhar, Muhammad Izhar, and Carlos Sanchez accepted the award on behalf of the firm. For this project, SIE was responsible for full resident engineering inspection services, including providing a community construction liaison. SIE was also responsible for reviewing contract plans and specifications for the project, reviewing DDC standard sewer specifications, and DEP/DOT standard drawings. Additionally, the project involved the challenging issues related to construction on heavily traveled streets in NYC.
