This project involved replacement of the bridge deck on the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge. As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) provided electrical engineering inspection services that included review of electrical plans and drawings, preparation of payments to contractors, and resolution of technical disputes with sub-contractors based on NEC, NYCEC and NYSDOT codes. SIE’s construction inspectors maintained active records and quantity measurements, tracked equipment and personnel utilization, and maintained payment and as-build records.
