SIE is pleased to announce that Gene Mavleos, PE, Assoc. DBIA, has joined our team as Vice President.
Gene’s extensive background in the rail and transit sector includes the management and delivery of numerous major capital improvement projects, including public and public/private partnerships, for agency clients such as MTA-LIRR, MTA-NYCT, MTA-MNR, MTA C&D, and PANYNJ. In his previous role, Gene was responsible for all construction and program management business sector activities, including project management, staffing, and pursuits. In addition, he served as a technical advisor on several projects across all sectors. Gene’s 30+ years of experience in planning, designing, and managing construction projects includes mega infrastructure projects such as the MTA-LIRR Main Line 3rd Track Expansion, Reconstruction of the World Trade Center Transportation Hub for PANYNJ, and the Harold Interlocking portion of MTA’s East Side Access.
In his new role, Gene will work with SIE’s senior leadership to support and expand our diverse construction management portfolio, with a specific focus on the rail and transit sector. We are confident that Gene’s expertise will help us continue to deliver exceptional results for our clients and the communities we serve.
