SI Engineering was recently awarded a Port Authority contract to provide condition surveys to identify structural and non-structural deficiencies, develop recommendations for correction, and provide Condition Survey Reports for various Port Authority structures. Under this contract, SIE will inspect both bridges and buildings. For some bridges, NYSDOT / NJDOT bridge inspection reports will be required in addition to the Condition Survey Report
Bridge inspections will include, but will not be limited to, signs, lighting structures, cut and cover tunnels designated as bridges, airport bridges, and other bridge structures. Airport bridge inspections will include, but will not be limited to, accessing ceilings/soffits and architectural finishes that surround the bridge elements to complete the inspection. Building inspections will include, but will not be limited to, parking structures, retaining walls, tollbooths, and utility chambers.
