Laurie Spencer

Laurie Spencer serves as SIE’s Business Development Associate and has played a key role in growing SIE’s presence in the New York Metro region. She has extensive experience in client relations and proposal development and is an active member of the A/E/C community. Since joining SIE, Ms. Spencer has been instrumental in growing SIE’s role in the public transportation market throughout the New York City metropolitan area.

She has over thirty-five (35) years of experience in construction and building service contract administration, as well as procurement of construction contracts and consultant agreements. Prior to joining SIE, much of her career was spent working for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in various areas.  For the last seventeen (17) years at the PANYNJ, her roles were focused on managing construction and professional service procurements for the agency. Ms. Spencer played a key role as the Manager of Alternative Project Delivery, leading the procurement of the first Public-Private-Partnership (P3) undertaken by the PANYNJ for the Goethals Bridge Replacement Project, and closed out her PANYNJ career managing the procurement of the Design / Build / Finance / Operate / Maintain P3 for the Replacement of LaGuardia Airport’s Central Terminal Building.
