Consultant Construction Management Services for Enhanced Stations Initiative

As a sub-consultant to both HNTB and Jacobs, SIE will be providing construction management services for the New York City Transit’s Enhanced Stations Initiative (ESI) Program. The ESI will enhance thirty-three stations in New York City by increasing visibility of stations by installing canopies, installing countdown clocks, enhancing lighting, and even providing USB ports to charge wireless devices. The NYC Transit will be utilizing design-build project delivery to expedite the project while cutting costs. The first three stations undergoing work for this project will be along 4th Avenue, in Brooklyn, and all thirty-three stations are projected to be completed by 2020.
