As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) provided construction management and construction inspection services for the Rutgers Tube Rehabilitation. This project involved the rehabilitation of systems and components within the Rutgers Tube that were damaged by Superstorm Sandy, as well as systems and components at the end of their useful lives, to achieve a State of Good Repair and to provide long-term resiliency measures to protect against future extreme weather events. The scope of work included communications, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, as well as work on traction power, cellular infrastructure, and cable management rack system. Work also included track and signal work, architectural and civil work, platform component work, and cellular and LED lighting tunnel work.
