This project involved final design services (Phase V-VI) for the new Kosciuszko Bridge that carries a 1.1-mile elevated highway segment of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (I-278) over Newtown Creek. As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) prepared building demolition plans, acquired by New York State, utility shut-off plans, and civil / structural design support services. After the State made this project a design-build project, SIE supported the State by coordinating and monitoring the design-build team and performing document control task for the project.
