As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) performed the inspection of tunnels A, B, C, and D connecting Hoboken and midtown Manhattan. SIE performed condition surveys and structural inspections of the PATH tunnels to ensure safe operations. Visual and hands-on inspections were conducted to identify potential problems in the tunnels. The assignment also required monitoring of structural elements and documentation of the various forms of deterioration. SIE staff created detailed reports recommending repairs and improvements for the routine and priority locations.
