As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) provided project and construction management services for this design-build project. The scope involved deploying CBTC systems on three (3) NYCT subway lines – Court Square to Hoyt Schermerhorn on the G line and High Street to Hoyt Schermerhorn on the A/C lines. The CBTC Program replaced and modernized the previous NYCT subway signaling system with state-of-the-art CBTC technology to improve safety, reliability, and operating efficiency and provide for future capacity growth. The CBTC Program included the installation of wayside CBTC equipment on the Crosstown Line and the Fulton Line, with options for segments, or all, of the 6th Avenue / 63rd Street Line.
