As the prime consultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) provided resident engineering inspection services for this New York City Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC) project. The project involved the installation of a new detectable warning surface on the existing pedestrian ramp and resurfacing of the area adjacent to the existing pedestrian ramp at the southwest corner of Liberty Street and Trinity Place. Work also involved the installation of steel face curbs and sidewalks, as well as the 9” concrete road base, and the placement of the 3” asphaltic roadway pavement, pavement striping, and replacement of curb-side regulation signage.
