SIE is pleased to announce that Liam Dalton has joined our team as Senior Vice President.
Liam brings more than 35 years of experience delivering major infrastructure projects across the New York metropolitan region. He began his career at the NYC Economic Development Corporation before joining Metro-North Railroad’s Capital Programs group, where he held roles including Inspector, Resident Engineer, Construction Manager, and Project Manager. While serving as Senior Project Manager at MNR, Liam led the Grand Central Terminal restoration project.
Liam then joined the consulting sector, leading high-profile projects such as both phases of the Times Square Subway Station Reconstruction, the new Yankee Stadium redevelopment and its adjacent Metro-North station, and LIRR’s Mid-Suffolk Electric Rail Yard. He also played a key leadership role in the Second Avenue Subway project—one of the world’s largest underground rail projects—first as Project Manager leading the design team for Phase 1, and later as the Consultant Project CEO for Phase 2.
Liam holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a Master’s Degree in Construction Management from New York University.
In his new role, Liam will support SIE’s growth by driving our pursuits in the transit and rail sectors.
