SIE is pleased to announce that Turan Ayaz has joined our team as Vice President.
Turan is a 30+ year veteran of industry boasting a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the delivery of urban infrastructure, rail, and aviation projects. Turan is known for his articulate and charismatic management style in handling large, complex infrastructure transportation programs for the Port Authority of NY & NJ and the MTA.
He has earned his reputation by delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and with an unwavering commitment to safety and quality. His hands-on approach, dedication to detail, and his deep understanding of construction logistics, along with the ability to foresee and mitigate risk ensured the successful execution of numerous high-profile projects within Port Authority’s PATH, Tunnels Bridges & Terminals, World Trade Center, and redevelopment programs at Newark Liberty International Airport and LaGuardia Airport, as well as the MTA’s 42nd Street Connection Project.
Turan is known for his collaborative leadership style that has earned him the respect of his teams, colleagues, and the multitude of clients. Through his ability to foster a culture of innovation and team-building, as well as his passion for mentorship, he develops and empowers individuals to reach their full potential while overseeing project delivery efforts for both the Public and Private sectors.
Turan holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Buffalo. In his new role, Turan will support the continued development and management of SI Engineering’s construction management and project/program management portfolio.
