As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) performed construction support services for the rehabilitation of nine (9) stations and line structures along the Sea Beach Line in the Borough of Brooklyn. SIE was responsible for interpretations of architectural/civil/structural engineering plans and specifications, and for correcting any inadequacies. SIE provided document control services for proposals and design work, civil and structural design support, and review of submittals and RFIs for the project. SIE followed the QA/QC program to ensure that project documents were complete, current, and stored appropriately, processed submittals and RFIs through Autodesk Constructware, and maintained the submittal and RFI log for the entire project. SIE maintained the structural submittal and RFI log, reviewed structural submittals and RFIs, and marked-up structural submittals and RFIs using Bluebeam.
