SIE was a part of the GEC team for the design of the East Side Access Mega Project and did work for the duration of design by providing structural engineering services for various design packages for the project. Currently, SIE is providing CSS services in for mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering. SIE is responsible for responding to RFI, reviewing submittals to assure conformance with specifications, equipment layout and coordination with other trades. Additionally, SIE is responsible for performing calculations for hydronic pumping systems, which include pumping and expansion tanks, as well as air systems, including duct pressure drop and fan sizing.
