As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) provided design and construction support services for the SCADA system at the Marine Parkway and Cross Bay Bridges. The scope of the project was to design and develop Construction Documents for the SCADA system at the two bridges. SIE reviewed existing conditions, available documents, record drawings, and work previously performed. Work also included a field review of the switchgear system at both bridges and data gathering to implement the design. A field review plan was provided to ensure no interruption of the facility’s normal operation system. SIE evaluated existing electrical equipment to verify that it could be upgraded to include remote monitoring equipment.
