SI Engineering was recently awarded a PANYNJ contract for Traffic Engineering Planning and Design Services for Redevelopment Programs. The Port Authority is undergoing the planning, design, and / or construction for the redevelopment of key transportation facilities, such as the three major airports (Newark Liberty International, John F. Kennedy International, and LaGuardia Airports) including their AirTrain systems, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and the Lincoln Tunnel Helix. As the Prime Consultant, SIE will provide conceptual plans and final design, develop functional plans, analyze vehicular and pedestrian facilities, and provide other services for these and other redevelopment and rehabilitation projects, with a focus on the landside transportation network.
