As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) performed a condition survey and submitted condition survey reports for culverts located at LaGuardia Airport. The culverts carry Marine Terminal Road, Bowery Bay Boulevard, and Runway 4 – 22 / Taxiways. Bowery Bay Boulevard consists of 1 cell (108” W x 108” H) length of 100’, and Runway 4-22 and Taxiways consists of 1 cell (108” W x 108” H) length of 900’. Access was coordinated with Airside Operations and performed at night. All inspection work and reports conformed to the PA Quality Assurance Guidelines for Waterfront Structures. Inspection of the culvert structures was performed in compliance with the latest PANYNJ guidelines.
