The Port Authority of New York / New Jersey (PANYNJ) is in the process of replacing the Port Authority Bus Terminal. The project aims to eliminate overcrowding and accommodate the rising bus passenger volume, which is project to increase to 337,000 passengers per day by 2040. The replacement program will also modernize the bus terminal to meet with current bus size and weight standards, ADA requirements, and improve service quality.
As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is providing program and project management services during the project’s planning, design, and construction phases, currently anticipated through 2030. Services include program management, program and project level scheduling, resource allocation analysis, program status and progress monitoring, budgeting, cost analysis, and project controls. Tasks include developing and providing reports and project narratives, financial status reports, and milestone progress reports compliant with PANYNJ requirements.
