As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) provided condition survey of the underwater and topside components of the ferry rack structures at both of the Staten Island Ferry Terminals. An inspection was performed that included a condition survey of 8 ferry slips and cursory inspection of 21 movable transfer bridges. A full report was provided to the client that detailed deficiencies and locations, and complete as-inspected drawings were developed in MicroStation.
