The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) required assistance in ensuring the contractor was correctly implementing maintenance and protection of traffic plans.
As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) assisted the Resident Engineer with monitoring the contractor’s work related to implementing signs, striping, and blunt end protection. SIE staff ensured that the work proceeded according to plan. If the contractor had questions or field issues arose, SIE worked with them to resolve any problems so the work could be completed.
