As a subconsultant, SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) provided construction inspection services for the construction of Harlem River Lift Bridge waterside protection, pier repairs, seismic retrofits, miscellaneous retrofits, and flag repairs.
This project involved the installation of fenders for waterside protection on the Manhattan and Bronx sides of the Harlem River Lift Bridge. Work also included rehabilitation of four (4) piers, which involved scarifying existing surface, repairing cracks, placing concrete with reinforcement, and providing protective coating for the existing concrete surface.
